Passion Even When In Pain...

The past few weeks I have been in some pain... I am going through a knee "mini" surgery which is spread out in 3 weeks. Hopefully this will give me the ability to get back into walking (which is my favorite thing to do) I have to be off my knee for 3 days, on the 4th day I can do some things, one of them is painting. I started this a week ago and I finished it on Midnight last Saturday. Not bad when in pain... although passion always prevails... :) kind of blurry, but it really looks good in person :) Enjoy!

Painting Is My 2nd Love, Family Is My 1st Love

I am painting this portrait that frankly isn't my favorite so far. I think it could be because I am running out of paints and scrapping together what I can find, but it will work...It's abstract right? My youngest son, Chase looked at the unfinished painting and said "Grandma fell down and she is crying" waited for about an hour... looked at it again and said "Grandma, feels better.  I just love how involved and how my sons are expression emotions towards my paintings. I thought that Mary Cay (my partner) was my best/worst critic... now I have 2 more!

TheLoner

I am not sure what is happening and I am not sure I really care. I am very blessed to be a painter and happy that I am made this way. I have sooo many images in my mind and not sure when and how I can get them on canvas! I am running out paint! Better make a sell soon, so I can paint more :) Enjoy, and thank you for your support!

Balance - It's Tough!

I have been struggling emotionally in these past few weeks. Painting is the only way to keep me balanced! I am getting excited for the gallery show, which I will send the details once I have them nailed down!
